How annoying for you, are goldtrail not part of one of the big companies anyway ? I assumed everybody had been taken over by either Thomas Cook or Thomson these days. :duh

I don't suppose this is going to make you feel any better, but a lot of people on flights with the big name companies have also been messed about this year, although it might have been worse due to the mergers. :really

thanks for the sympathy doe.

If goldtrail were a 'big' company...surely someone would pick the phone up more than once in the umpteen attempts we made to contact them?

Anyways.....gonna try and get things sorted tomorrow.

Will keep you all informed

Why are you blaming Goldtrail ? Onur air and Goldtrail are seperate companies, Goldtrail purchase seats on Onur air flights, If your that disgusted with them go and see Trading standards they will advise you on what to do, Im sure that they will at least refund your money.

I would imagine the member is annoyed at Goldtrail for not informing them of the flight change - so would I be.

It's not up to Onur to inform them. The package was booked through Goldtrail so it's Goldtrails responsibility. Thomas Cook for eg may use a Thomson's flight but the onus would still be on TC to inform their customers.

Thats exactly who I'm annoyed at administrator. Its Goldtrail who should have informed me.....my argument is would I have been informed if I had not got in touch with them? I doubt it!!

So yes....its definately goldtrails fault.

It was my feeling that Goldtrail were at fault as well Glynis. At the end of the day in law your contract is with who you book your holiday with.

oh jeez, i've booked with goldtrail for 2wks later than you
hope mine are ok

where are you flying from, maybe ring and check.

although i agree that the contract was made with Goldtrail, they have no say in what onur air does. yes they should have told you straight away and not waited for you to ring them. if an airline has only afew seats booked on a plane they sometimes do cancel the flight.

We are similar situation except, we were informed. We were told that our flight from Birmingham on 14th June had been cancelled and we were given the choice of flying from Manchester on the same day or from Birmingham on the 13th. We opted for the day earlier as there was no way that I was driving up to Manchester when Birmingham is half the distance away.
