Cruising on the 13th June around the Meditterranean, Malaga, Barcelona, Villefranche, Livorno, Civitavecchia, Gibraltar, Lisbon, Vigo.
My partner is disabled and in a wheelchair (She can get in and out of cars no problem) and we are visiting all the docks above.
My main concern as we don't intend to book any excursions that can be laid on, is in getting around.
For example, when we enter the docks in each of the above ports, can we get to the major sightseeing towns/places without struggling to get on and off coaches, trains etc.
In Livorno we would like to get to Pizza or Florence maybe, if we get to the train station are wheelchairs easy to get on the trains....
Will taxis accommodate us.... etc etc etc....
Any advice would be more than welcome.
I suggest that you also post your query in our Disabled Persons forum for maximum exposure.
