I will be arriving at LAX on Christmas day and flying home to Scotland on the 1st of January. I will be staying in Anaheim with another 2 persons. What is the best way to travel from the airport to my hotel and back? I have stayed in Anaheim before but it was 22 years back, then I just jumped on a bus which was free to a drop of point in Anaheim, there was a board with hotel numbers on it, so all I did was call the hotel and they picked me up. Is it much the same now? Also with my dates of arrival and departure will there be transport available to and from my hotel.
All your help and tips will be greatly appreciated.

Check http://www.lawa.org click on LAX, then ground transportation, and follow the links to the various options of getting to your accommodation. We are staying in the holiday inn hotel and suites this September which has a $16 one way shuttle charge, if you are staying in a hotel as well, check out if they have an airport shuttle service. We are hiring a car with Dollar at LAX and driving to the hotel as we are travelling further afield after Disneyland. According to Google Earth the journey will be about 45 minutes, check out their direction finder, enter your departure and arrival address, click the play button, and watch it fly your route.

We got off the plane at LAX and ask any driver that was waiting outside how much it would be etc, they gave us a card when we dropped off in Anaheim at the carousel inn and suites, then picked us up again on return. Hotels can arrange it for you as well, try to email them and see what their proceedure is.
