Was hoping someone could help you better than me but as no-one else has replied yet here goes. We always take our mobile phones to text family when we have arrived. After this we usually get prepaid phone cards in resort. You can usually get them from supermarkets or kiosks. I think they are €5. You then need a public telephone. It usually says 'telecard' or something. All you need to do is dial 0044etc as usual. There is a display where the card units count down. Not sure how long the cards give you but it's plenty of time for a good chat.
Hope this helps.
Have a good holiday,
Yiamass, Jean
Hello Jean. Thanks for your reply, we've tried those cards before, we are just looking for the cheapest rate, this card we are looking at is bought on line, and you just get a pin number. Thanks again Jim.
