Hi all

We have booked our holiday in Elounda for the end of June for one week and were wondering if there were any good water parks worth visiting that were more inclined for older children/ adults. We have a hired car, so it doesn't matter where on the island the park is, but would appreciate any recommendations put forward.

A bit of info about Crete water parks can be found here http://www.holidays2crete.com/waterparks.html

The two I've been to are Aqua Plus and Star Beach. Star beach doesn't have many big slides and from my experience is better suited to smaller kids.

I've been told that Water City can get very busy in peak season and you spend half the day queueing for slides, never been though so that's just hearsay.

http://www.acquaplus.gr/ I can recomend. Went there a couple of years ago, me, the wife and 4 kids aged between 7 and 14. Everyone agreed it was by far the best day of the holiday

Water City is excellent, Star Beach is OK with a decent beach and safe play pools for the younger end or Bunjee for the more daring or daft. Malia Water Park is poor and not even worth a look at.
