Has anyone been to any of the following Water or Theme parks and can give me some up to date info. Have googled for infor and it is only website stuff, no actual word of mouth accounts.
We are off to Les Sables in Aug, we will have in tow 2 x 15 yr old girls and a 9 yr old girl and a partner who stands on the sidelines no matter what we do lol and me who is still only 18.......(name is really peter pan ).
The girls all love water, but I just wonder if the water park is worth it seeing as we have a pool onsite and the sea is beside the site as well.
Silly question really am old enough and stupid enough to know the reason we need to go there, I need to get more white in my hair.............. Something about getting frightened to death on slides.
Atlantic Toboggan - Water Park
Puy Du Fou - Not sure what it is, is it a Theme Park with rides or a Park with outdoor shows all over the place? Would a 9 yr old enjoy this Park, or would we all just be sitting watches shows all day and night? Might be a great park but to be honest unless it can keep the kids occupied actively we would rather not go.
Any information you can help with will be gratefully recieved.
Many thanks in anticipation.
And everybody have a Happy Hols
planning next years already but hanging off booking in case we just happen to like France partner cant take the spanish sun
There is lots to see, and plenty going on to keep you interested. But it's not a 'rides' type theme park like Alton Towers.
It's essentially a series of noisy, smoky, live spectaculars dedicated to violence through the ages. In one afternoon, you can take in a Roman circus, a Viking longboat and a 19th century town.
In the evenings, there is a huige stage show where a thousand local volunteer actors stage a historical sound and music extravaganza. You need to book your tickets in advance, as every show gets sold out in the summer.
Thanks for that
You might also care to look up the cinema and image theme park called FUTUROSCOPE near Poitiers - great fun and very original.
Agree with Alsacienne about Futuroscope, it's made up of Imax style cinemas showing all sort of immersive films where you feel like you're flying with birds, taking a trip to the moon, etc. Great fun
There is a big water park at the far tip of the Ile de Normoitier, can't recall what it is called though.
Big Thanks Hi Di Hi, think your idea might be a winner
