They are both excellent hotels and are next door but one to each other.I would google both of these hotels and read the most recent reviews.The La Perla looks the better of the 2 but I havent stayed at either.I stayed at the Aqua which is next door.

Im sure the marti is half board and marti la perla is A/I . Well that was the case a few years ago . Not sure if its changed at all

Marti Resort was HB but have niticed Thomas Cook abd First Choice offer AI. Prices are a lot more expensive than the La Perla. The resort has a lovely pool area and the beach is also good. I stayed there twice in the past and loved it but some reveiews lately say standards have slipped. I was there 5 years ago, so cannot comment.

La Perla is along the beach front on the other side of the canal, never been there but have looked at it from the front and it looks nicely kept.

I know Marti Resort atttracted a lot of Germans and Ditch guests.

I stayed at the Marti La Perla last year and had a wonderful holiday. It is an A/I hotel based right upon the beachfront, and has its own private area with free sunbeds.
The main difference between the Marti Resort and La Perla is that the Marti Resort has far more amenities, such as more swimming pools and its own turkish bath and massage parlour etc, and as such is a much larger complex.
The La Perla was a well kept and very clean hotel and for me and the wife it had everything that we needed, but saying that the only downside was that it was the first A/I we have used in Turkey and we were slightly dissapointed with the food, and are going B/B this year back to Icmeler

Must agree with the amenties at Marti Resort, the pool area is lovely, we used to sit on the grass around the smaller pool where it had shady prts from the trees.

Since then we have done B&B as there are so many good restaurants outside.

Giving Icmeler a miss this year and gong to Kalkan on Monday. Thouh could be back in September....
