Welcome to the forums
The Atlas is right bang in the action surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants on Party Street..
If your family love to shop, you will only be a short (and cheap) bus ride from the city of Varna, where they will find a greater variety of things to buy at 'normal' Bulgarian prices, rather than inflated resort/tourist prices.
hi rasher58 we have been going to golden sands for many years and have always found many places to eat out at .You will find the people are very friendly ,also they will give you lots of tips where to go and not to go.The best place for shoping and a great day out is Varna as there is a big market there .There is plenty of shopping places in the resort and you can get all that you want but the prices are dearer. There is the muppet club just under the The Perunika hotel and has a karioka for all the family ,just up from that is the Sochi where you get a great meal Have a great holiday June52
