Hi lorn, depends what you are looking for, we have near to falaraki for the last two years and found it to be very quiet at night, nothing like it used to be, i think the mayor had something to do with it. The resort seems to be catering more now for scandinavian families. If you're looking for a livelier nightlife then you'll need to try rhodes town, hope that helps.

We ventured back to Faliraki in 2005 after getting reports back that the mayor was making a real effort to change the image of the resort after all the 'reps uncovered' issues in 02 and 03, and it was very quiet, bar crawls were banned, lots of family type entertainment being promoted.
There were quite a few youngsters (16-20) there who were clearly expecting it to be like it was a few years earlier and because of this it was fairly lively in the couple of bars where the youngsters all went but the rest of the resort stayed fairly relaxed.
