kiojazz,

There's no such thing as a silly question if you don't know the asnwer. You can consume your own food and drink on aircraft. The only exception is alcohol bought in duty free and I don't think they'll be doing that! Bear in mind the security restriction of bringing liquids through security.

Just remember all drinks will have to be bought after going through security, as you aren't even allowed to take water through, but there are plenty of places airside to stock up.

We have bought all our stuff airside the last few times. You can go in Smith's and get two bottles of water for 1,50p, orange fruit juice, etc, they also have crisps, biscuits, snacks, Boots (I think) had sandwiches. It all seemed similar prices to the high street to me.

Boots meal deals always work for me when im travelling! Im a fussy eater too and always grab a few things from there. Plus it helps too when you get peckish during the flight as i find even if i like the food onboard it never fills me up.

Hi were off to Protaras in aug and want to take my boys snorkling for the first time would it be better to buy a snorkling set out there or here and take it with us . :tup

brad/angela,

I don't think it makes much difference. It depends if you just want a cheap set which are available in resort or you want a better fitting mask and more advanced snorkel which you can either get in a dive shop in resort or over here.
