We're going to Makarska for two weeks on June 7th. I've got quite a lot of euros left from previous holidays; can I spend them in Makarska, or will I have to change them?
I notice that quite a few excursion companies quote prices in Euros.
Many thanks
We went to Cavtat near Dubrovnik a couple of years ago and you couldn't pay in the shops with the Euro it was all the local currency. I don't know whether or not you would be able to pay for excursions in Euro. I suppose you would be able to take them to an exchange place over there and convert them to local currency.
Maybe someone else could be of more help. There is a forum on http://www.visit-croatia.co.uk.
Enjoy your hols
Jean
You'll have to change them to Kunas...
But you would need to keep some euros aside if you are going on a trip to Venice...
