I have a friend who is about to visit Santa Eulalia and they are concerned there are no sunbeds and sunshades for hire on the main beach. She has looked at some photos of the beach and they appear not to have any. I was there last year but cannot recall if there were any there. Can anybody confirm what the position is regarding sunbeds/sunshades on the beach.

No there aren't sunbeds and umbrellas on the main beaches - thank god!
There are sunbeds/shades for hire further round by the Riomar Hotel and on Mariners beach but few people seemed to be using them last week. I think the price makes it cheaper to buy your own stuff and chuck it away at the end of the holiday!!
