Am I right in assuming that it's better to take sterling notes to Morocco?
Also I read somewhere that they like clean, possibly new notes - is that correct.
Cheers
Arnie
Any Dirhams left over at the end of your holiday must be changed backed into sterling !
Thanks cuteypie
never heard of that one before, can't see them not accepting dirty notes. personally I wouldn't take too much - there are plenty of cashpoints around.
its best to take clean notes. I was once there and they question the authenticity of some of my notes. well if you go to a cash machine in the uk and take cash out first before you go there, then the notes will be cleaner, i guess. alternatively, if you have dirty notes then deposit them at your bank first then withdraw the cash and take it to morocco.
