Hi guys, new to this section of forum as usually on Lanzarote site. Never having been to Portugal at all I have been looking today for a holiday to go on Wednesday. Holidays at short notice seem to be very limited but Jet2 can offer flights and accommodation in Albufeira, however they do not provide transfers. Hubby and I not keen on driving and so was wondering if anybody could give an indication of how far Albufeira is from Faro airport and a very rough guide as to taxi prices. Any help greatly appreciated.

Albufeira's a 30-35 minute taxi ride from the airport and a pre-booked private transfer is likely to cost in the region of €34-€35 each way for up to four people. Hope this helps a bit.

Depends on budget; a private transfer is the quickest but most expensive, a shared transfer will be cheaper but could involve dropping off at other resorts/hotels before you reach your destination. Cheapest option is a shuttle bus but you're even more likely to have other drop offs as the number of passengers will be greater.
