Cheap flights are becoming a thing of the past due to the fuel prices. I'm off on Monday and managed to find one for £212 to Dalaman. If you are looking for August they are quite pricey.
Anyway try XL.com and use the code MOD to get a discount. Thomas Cook also has a good site. a1travel.com gives you a choice of companies and skyscanner is quite good. Hope you find something. If you can leave it to the last minute and are happy to try several airports you might pick up a cheaper one.

Booked Hotel yel in Olu Dniz, near hisoronu with holiday nights. £343.00 for half board for three people 12 nights with hotel transfer. Going 13th aug till 25th. I priced it up with Thomson and i reckin i have savd half of wha it would have cost with them. Im happywith it any way. 6 weeks and 6 days and counting.

I've just booked flights through First Choice in september as they were the cheapest. If you stick "cheap flights to Dalaman" into Google it'll give you lots of price comparison sites.

http://www.lowcostbeds.com is a good place for cheap hotels in Hisaronu.

As another poster commented, not sure there are such things as cheap flights to Dalaman these days, certainly not from 'oop north' anyway!

As for hotel rooms I would try Med hotels-we booked Montebello Hotel in Olu Deniz for £120 for the room for 2 of us for 14 nights -this included pool/garden view, turkish breakfast and air-conditioning!

The hotel suited us fine and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I wouldn't pay that much Istanbul29 and anyway it would mean going via Istanbul. I have sometimes done that in the winter but it's a real pain and takes longer.

To start with that looked interesting. However it soon became clear that the whole thing would be difficult. I can read Turkish a bit but for anyone who can't I couldn't see any translations (I could have missed that though). They also add tax to those prices and I was looking for flights around 2nd July. Although the Standsted to Istanbul was quoted as £185 with the tax it was actually £241 then the Istanbul flight with tax was 306 lira. Then when I tried to tie the 2 flights up it was impossible as the london flight arrived at 18.40 and the Dalaman flight went in the morning. Thanks for the information though Istanbul29. It might be handy if I want to visit Istanbul. Thankfully I have a flight direct to Dalaman for £212 return next week but it is a lot more than I paid last year. I think it is near impossible to find cheap flights now and we will just have to put up with it.
Woops there is an English translation - well that makes it a bit easier i shall go back and see if I missed anything!!

OK have checked again and it's now saying the 13th July flight to Istanbul returning 2 weeks later is £286. I didn't check the Istanbul to Dalaman flight. Shame about that it could have been an alternative.

Thats a good price Ekin, did you book it recently? It often pays to book a long time in advance but I hate commiting myself to dates so far ahead. I booked my flight for next week about a month ago and know it would have been cheaper if I had done it much earlier. A couple of years ago there were loads of cheap flights if you could wait until the last minute. We got one for £40 return by waiting until the week before. Those deals don't seem to happen any more, well not to Turkey. I have had a few good ones with the likes of Ryanair this year to Europe.
