Hi everyone.
It's my first time to Portugal. We are staying in a villa in Luz in two weeks time and i was wondering if anyone can tell me how warm/hot it can be in the evening in June?
We've been a few times in June usually in Lagos not too far from you. However, I don't know how windy your resort is as Lagos has a lovely breeze that keeps the evenings bearable
So if there is no breeze can it be quite unbearable? We have an 8 month old baby with us so would be handy to know what to take for her in the evening.
we went to albufeira last june . it was lovely and warm in the day but in the evenings there was a nice cool breeze . best of both worlds because it was comfortable when you wanted to go to sleep . hope you have a nice time . we did .
We were there last June also with a toddler and we just took a light blanket and wrapped him up if cold, or a long sleeved top. It was warm at night with a light(very) breeze.
It,s very unlikely with no breeze that it would be unbearable. The more likely scenario would be breezy evenings which might need a light jacket or something similar. We usually hope that its not breezy in the evenings.
Just back yesterday, weather was very dissapointing overall. I stayed for a week and we saw rain 4 days and in general it was very cloudy. It only became nice for short periods and it was quite breezy in many places. Many people were wearing jackets, jumpers and long trousers in the evenings.
Thanks.
With the reports of bad weather, I'm kinda glad we aren't going till later in the season now - hopefully the weather will have sorted itself out by then.
http://www.accuweather.com and the weather looks like its settling down, no rain showing.
just looked at the 15 day forecast on Dave.
You lucky thing Dave!
Just wanted to wish you a happy holiday Dave just in case I can't get on here over the next couple of days.
Hello Milly and doe, thank you, well the bags are packed both and just under weight at 19Kg. We are off on the 29th so not long too. Going to Lagos
