went to Georgeopolis two or three years ago and some friends just returned. See was fine and calm. Same coastline and not too far away so should be fine.

I regularly visit the area. I would describe it as a welcome breeze, which like most islands, can occasionally be a little stronger. On an average 2 weeks visit you could expect 3-4 days when the waves are perhaps too high for younger children. My daughter is 7 and loves the waves....but not on her own (that would be true anywhere though).
