Hi, we have just booked to go to the Sol Morrormar apartments in Matagorda next January, i was just wondering where they are situated. Are they anywhere near the commercial centre or the Sol Lanzarote hotel?

Hello Sara, the Morromar is just near the Commercial centre at Matagorda,
If it's peace and quiet your after Matagorda is the place, there's a square with about half a dozen small bars and around 8 or so restaurants, there's also a few supermarkets or if you want something to eat/drink or a snack. so don't worry on that score. On the sea front there a few more bars n cafe type places, but it's fairly low key
For me after a night or two there it becomes a bit boring, don't worry at all though as you can head it PDC for a few drinks/nice food and a dance.
Honestly you'll really enjoy it !.
The Morromar itself is ok, just a little out of the way, if you want a bit to do in the evening. the saving grace is PDC being 4 or 5 euros in a taxi, ..you can walk, but it's agood 25/30 mins, and that's not counting for the heat of the day. or if you have heels on for a night out
