Hi, I am going to Santa Susanna in mid September with the family , plus my parents for a little child care backup!
I am trying to find out what the water depth is like on the beaches for my 10 year old daughter to swim in, and also the composition of the beach itself.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Darrin
the sea, like most of this area, goes deep very quickly -a matter of just 3 metres out in some areas- but there are isolated pockets where the shelve is less severe.
there can also be a nasty under current when the sea is slightly rough.
just keep a look out on your child, watch for any flags flying telling you about the safety levels on the beach, and probably swim where you see others in the water.
I guess I'm gonna have to see if I can change the booking for the Costa Dorado maybe
Thank you very much for the info.
Darrin
