Thinking of going to sharm for first time in october for 1 week two adults and two grown up children. Is it possible to book flights accomadation etc and how easy is transfer from airport as I have not used a tour operator for years and saved a lot of money.

Its just as easy as booking for anywhere else. Try travelrepublic, they usually good price. The airport isn't far from any of resorts in sharm so you'll have no problems getting taxi to take you, just make sure you ask price before you get in.

we used Med hotels for our accom and transfers. Med Summer 10 should still work for a 10% discount on the hotel and transfers were abt £35 for 4 of us return.
