Where is Blackpool there?? Where??
We stopped at the Riudor (which I will review in the hotel section).
I would definitely go back, we did a free blanket trip with PAL where we went to Alicante, we went Aqualandia, Mundomar (my better half did the dolphin encounter) and Terra Mitica (in the evening).
We did some bars. Chaplains, Hippodrome, Loccos, Joker, A Tavern by Riudor, 3/4 Kings, Piccadillies and Valentines.
We saw two Sticky Vikki's (the fake and real) and we watched Morpheus and another act.
We went into the Pelicanos to see where they film Benidorm.
We went on the beach (which is probably the best beach I have visited) and snorkled where the edge of the rock shelfing finishes.... this was the best snorkling I have done... so many fish and so many types of fish.
We ate at Tony Roma's (best ribs in US), One/Last Stop (I think its that name by the Riudor), 3/4 Kings and the Chinese Buffet (in the corner of Rincoix area by McDs).
I must admit, quite dissappointed in the hotel (i.e. food, prices of drinks, safe, fridge, TV and attitude of staff) but other than that location was fantastic.....
Benidorm and the Costa Blanca was a real enjoyable, relaxing and extremely hot holiday. I wish I could be there or go back soon (not to Riudor LOL).
Blackpool......nah not at all.....
So thanks for all your opinions (those that gave them me in my posts)... and also thanks for the other posts with other important suggestions etc.
For about 3/4 years I have used this forum and I suggest everyone I know who is booking a holiday to use it.
Dan

Dan
agree with the ribs at romas, yummy. I had a fab time and enjoyed my first time at benidorm, i stayed at the rio park. Location was still good, i loved the beach also. will return again
Glad you enjoyed your holiday Dan.....bet you'll be going back too
There is so much misinformation about the place on other websites. I read some of the reviews and wonder if the people have actually been there.
To me Benidorm has something for everyone. If you don't like your stay there, then you haven't looked hard enough. I know a lot of different age groups, orientation, (you know what I mean) and social categories who all love the place. I can have a great time there with my parents, my nephews and nieces and my partner's grandchildren. That must range about 80 years in total. Where else can you get that?
