All of those are great choice family 4 star resorts. St James Club and Verandah being part of Elite Island Resorts are very good quality hotels. I would say that a suite at the Verandah looks like good value ATM because lots of UK operators have great rates to promote it, as it is new to this hotel group. You may never get it at such a good price again.

I personally would give the Verandah some real consideration.

For 3 plus star you always get great family value at the Halcyon by rex on Dickenson Bay in Antigua.

I have just come back from St Lucia myself, we booked our holiday with an independent UK operator. I don't think I can type the website, I'm not sure if I'll get told off. I have seen others put websites on. so if you want to ask then please do and we can see if it stays or not!

So long as you aren't promoting a company you work for (this is usually easy enough to establish via checks carried out by mods/admin) and the company hasn't been put in our word filter for some reason then feel free to post the link.

We stayed at St.James Club a couple of years ago. Children were 7 and 11. They loved the kids club and we all had a great holiday. Would recommend it.

I think the Pineapple Beach is definitely out, seems in urgent need of a major refurb.
Verandah and SJC look pretty good, although having said that, the SJC does get very mixed reviews and Verandah appears to struggle to cope during busy periods.

Frankly it's proving difficult to find something that measures up to the Iberostar we stayed at in Mexico last Easter.....
