So glad you enjoyed it. Hope your OH's back gets better soon. I think Cala'n Bosch is one of those places that if you go once, you will most likely return. Going a week on Sat for the 2nd time...can't wait!

What can i say the hotel was right on the beach we walked past the swimming pool and down a couple of steps and was straight on white sands and my god the water was so very clear it was unbelievable and warm (once you are in lol ) We then came out of the hotel at night turn left cross the road down the ramp and was in the marina with all the bars and restaurants and allsorts of other things like hair plating and painters and bands walking down the street ( thats not every night ) If we turned right out side the hotel and across the park we where at the clinic but we needed it. everywhere was so close it was great we totally had a very relaxing holiday we spent everyday on the beach always on the waters edge opposite side to the pedalos.

I am sure you will have a fantastic time it was our best place ever and we have been a few places.

Can you tell us if their is any boat trips around the island and any excursions you can recommend (if you did any, that is) also we are hoping to go to a fiesta whilst we are there, but will need to get a bus, do you know if the buses from cala en bosch go to all resorts/villages/towns of menorca.

Any help would be appreciated.

Only 2 weeks 4 days to go

la marina I think is the one we used we went there twice but we only ate out about 5 or 6 times whilst we where there as partner had got back problems and found it very hard to sit some days. Needless to say we did not do any boat trips this time either, you can get trips from cal en bosh but there only about 3hrs long But if you go down to ciutadella on the bus which runs every ten mins and it costs 1.75 eur each way you can get boat trips from there that are all day plus you can get buses from there to other resorts Too but i cant say how much boat trips are or how much bus trips where as we could not do them unfortunately this time.

We stayed at the siesta Player sorry i did not say, I think you have got reviews on this hotel already i am not very good at them sort of things i don`t think but i will say it was in a brill location well for us it was, I will say that it was loverly and clean but they only change your towels & sheets twice a wk and they did nothing else that we saw to be honest no sweeping or mopping and the balcany was not done. but we did not bother to much about it as it was not dirty and cleaned our own loo swept if need be.
never ate or drank there so can not comment on that but the pool looked to be clean it was quite big also but you still had the towels on beds at silly hours

Thanks for the info walks, we will prob take the bus in to ciutadella, the first day, as my hubby cant wait to see all the lovely arcitecture their, and we will check out the buses then. Mind you, Im still trying to talk him in to hiring a car for a couple of days as we are only there for a week, and would love too see lots of the island.
Are the buses usually packed with standing room only? and the doors open and close as quick as you can 'holiday' . As my mum is a bit slow, bless her, and I get visions of her getting dragged along on the bus steps whilst its setting off

Two weeks and two days to go

buses can get busy,especially on market days.if standing room only would hope someone would give up their seat for your mum.
you will find that you are given plenty time to get on//off buses.

Hi we went down in the evening so the bus was nearly empty, But i would recomend a car we nornaly do but this time could not drive, but it is very easy to drive on the island and the roads are very quite to the uk tell him to give it a shot, but i bet you will go back because there is so much to see. We was quite happy( or should i say i was because i was not in pain) to have a real R/R holiday in calen bosh.

For anyone thinking of hiring a car, go for it! Even I managed the driving this year - I only drove locally but it was no problem at all.

yes it was great to meet you to,As you no we was hoping to have gone back but the doc said there was no way mike could go we are still waiting to get the all clear to go to france next wk but will no more tomorrow his feeling as come back alot in his leg now so fingers crossed, We was thinking of going back oct what wil the weather be like do you know I have got to look to see what our dates are for then from school i should have them some where.

Andrea & Dan hope the rest of your holiday went well sorry i did not get to see you again, next time hopefully mike will in the best of health i no he would of loved to of got up and danced at some time whilst we was there and he would of joined in the conga with you all had he of been ok and there.
