Dont give up on them ! - everyone is slow to respond out of season.

I have emailed loads of hotels and very few seem to respond. I do wonder why they bother to advertise email addresses if they are not interested in answering any mails they get.

To spike and Fiona
I got reply from them almost 10 days back asking for dates,I replied but no further answer!I also wonder why these chaps are slow nowadays OR they are in the process of announcing new rates for Diwali festival, whatever is the reason such slow responce is not good for professinals.
By the way any suggestions for similar kind of suits overlooking the sea please?

Don't think many of us look for sea facing suites and a drawing room - most look for somewhere clean, near the beach and restaurants where they come back to after a day at the beach. That is probably why you have not had much of a response. It also depends on your budget - Try the Taj or similar. There are also Villas for rent which can be found on the internet.
When we are in Goa we often get emails from people we know asking us to go to such and such a place and tell them to read their emails as people in UK are waiting for a reply.

Google 'hobbit house south anjuna'. This is as close to the sea as you can get.

This place is amazing - went to it last season when friends of a friend stayed there.
Just over £1.000 pounds per week for 2 bedroom bungalow :really

You can find the rates on the website - everything is there - that is how I knew how much it was. Lots of photos and comments from previous guests.

What a shock - what dates did you enquire about?
My friends are on their summer holiday at the moment but are going to book it when they come back - they may be disappointed.

I asked booking around Diwali time which falls around last week of Oct.

Hi, You could try Alidia Beach Cottages in Baga, I was introduced to the owners quite a few years ago over dinner by a Goan friend and visited their place for breakfast during our stay. We've never stayed there but it seemed really nice and they are very nice people. I remembered reading some reviews a little while ago on Tripadvisors (sorry Fiona and HT!!) If you have a look at the reviews and especialy read the one named 'A hidden gem in an over commercialised resort' by a couple from Holland, they stayed there in a suite which had a sea view - not right on the beach but did have the view and not too expensive.
