Hi all,I`ve just returned from two weeks here and have to say that although i was a bit nervous about the place before hand (after reading some of the reviews) i have to say it was excellent the location was good as were the apartments and staff so much so we`re seriously considering going back next summer,my only criticism would be the bar prices it was 6 euro for a pint of magners!!!. I would like to make five reccomendations :- 1,For excellent food try Katies beach bar on Son Matias beach reasonably priced and friendly staff their chilli is excellent, 2, The OK bar reasonably priced and a good atmosphere, 3, Roosters chippy beautiful fish and chips...expensive but worth it. 4,The House Of Katmandu don`t bother its an absolute rip off!!. 5, Now this one is for anyone who likes indian food,we found this indian restaurant above Katies Beach bar with a lovely terrace with sensatoinal views over the bay..absoluely perfect called LOS CURRIES, BUT the food here was without doubt the most disgusting and tasteless indian food i have ever tasted in my life my wife had a tandoori fish starter that was frozen on the inside,the whole meal was vile none of us ate it and when we complained about it they didn`t want to know so for the next 2 hrs me and my brother sat at the bottom of the stairs leading up to this place warning people how disgusting the food was,we put off 7 to 10 groups of people SO AVOID THIS PLACE if you like a good balti,sorry for such a long post,tony
