I tried Alcove but they are slow like a sloath in repling, even if they reply back to me I have decided not to stay there as their slow speed give me some idea of how their service will be so anyone here suggest me similar suites in any resort/hotel which is facing sea and preferebly in north Goa?(Even south will do but personally I prefer North).
I am thinking to visit Goa in October.
Dont give up on them ! - everyone is slow to respond out of season.
I have emailed loads of hotels and very few seem to respond. I do wonder why they bother to advertise email addresses if they are not interested in answering any mails they get.
I got reply from them almost 10 days back asking for dates,I replied but no further answer!I also wonder why these chaps are slow nowadays OR they are in the process of announcing new rates for Diwali festival, whatever is the reason such slow responce is not good for professinals.
By the way any suggestions for similar kind of suits overlooking the sea please?

When we are in Goa we often get emails from people we know asking us to go to such and such a place and tell them to read their emails as people in UK are waiting for a reply.
Google 'hobbit house south anjuna'. This is as close to the sea as you can get.
Thanks Hapi,I appreciate this.

This place is amazing - went to it last season when friends of a friend stayed there.
Just over £1.000 pounds per week for 2 bedroom bungalow
Thanks Narial but this stuff looks costly on the first look!Though I have dropped a mail to them asking for rates, thanks a tonn for helping.
You can find the rates on the website - everything is there - that is how I knew how much it was. Lots of photos and comments from previous guests.
They are fully booked, just got their mail Narial.
My friends are on their summer holiday at the moment but are going to book it when they come back - they may be disappointed.
What a shock - what dates did you enquire about?

Hi, You could try Alidia Beach Cottages in Baga, I was introduced to the owners quite a few years ago over dinner by a Goan friend and visited their place for breakfast during our stay. We've never stayed there but it seemed really nice and they are very nice people. I remembered reading some reviews a little while ago on Tripadvisors (sorry Fiona and HT!!) If you have a look at the reviews and especialy read the one named 'A hidden gem in an over commercialised resort' by a couple from Holland, they stayed there in a suite which had a sea view - not right on the beach but did have the view and not too expensive.
