hi, depends on a few things really, like your flight times, do you want to go to the canaries ? 4 and a half hours usually, but more or less guarenteed the sun, we went to tenerife in march this year and had a great time , good weather, not too busy too.
maybe the costa del sol, only 2 and a bit hours and I think gets the better weather in march, I may be wrong on that, sure someone will correct me !!
other than that, march in europe can be really hit and miss weather wise, but you could be lucky !

If you are able to fly from Gatwick Easyjet prices are very good at the moment.
eg. Flying to Gran Canaria Tues. March10th to Sat.14th works out under £100 per person, thats excellent,
and you should have some good weather. If you decide to book this you can then book accommodation with the likes of eg. Travel Republic.
p.s. Those prices wont last long.

Is weather important to you ? If not you could go to somewhere like Paris, Venice, Rome, barcelona.

If you just want a normal holiday with some winter sun, you could pick a really nice 5* hotel in the Canaries, and book youf flights seperately. I think Tenerife has some very posh hotels if you are trying to make it a bit special.

Or how about La Manga in Spain. Was talking to someone about it in the week. who has just come back.

More like a village but tons of facilities for your kids and once again it has a posh Hyatt hotel in the middle of the resort which would make it seem special, assuming you just want 4 nights there you may be able to book direct with the hotel (or on the Hyatt website) and then cheepie flights as its only two hours.
