I am so sorry to those of you affected by those Manchester dates
(27th Aug & 1st Sept)
But I must admit I said *phew* when I read it (we fly 29th August)
Selfish I know, but I am only being honest.
Maybe they can work something out before then?
Let's hope so.
The knock on effect could still be being felt on the 29th,Manchester is not known for its fast baggage reclaim at the best of times. The only bit of good news is the breaking up of the BAA monopoly on London Airports.Time to kick Swissport out also.
im flying to cyprus 9.00 am on wednesday the day of the strike with monach from manchester, so really worrying, ive also already booked in overnight 26/8 the day before at sas manchester airport hotel so will this be a waste of money? and dont know now what else to do, help!! never been in this situation, will there be no flight at all now?
Little comfort but anyone on Thomsonfly from Manchester will not be affected as they dont use Swissport at Manchester Airport.
