The CTO has announced that from spring 2009 MONARCH airways will add BIRMINGHAM to LANACA to its current schedules on a twice weekly basis [schedules not yet confirmed]

I thought Monarch were a 'budget' airline!
Just checked outward 31st May, return 14th June. Barely cheaper than First Choice at £435 for 2 return tickets. That's without the extra legroom option, which would add about another £90.
The little bit extra will be worth it to travel from EMA, which is only 10 minutes down the road.
Schedules ARE confirmed, Sundays and Wednesdays (14:10-20:50 out, 21:50-00-50 back both days, local time), the 2 busiest days at either of Cyprus' airports!
