Friends are going to Goa early October and have asked where to go to eat out and also bars to use where they will not be sat on their own - anywhere from Football field in Candolim to Calangute Infantaria roundabout. They know the shacks won't be open but are not really beachy people.
As we don't eat in many restaurants/bars can't give much of a list.
Anybody help please?
quite a few were shut when we were there last October. We always ended up at Nirvanas though- which actually we also did in April when everything was open. The Flying Dolphin on the beach is open too.
The Seagull resturant at the side of the Candolim Football field, is excellent, it is used mainly by the locals, and at the height of the season a lot of Brits use it, the menu is very good and cheap, it is around 45rps for a bottle of kingfishers (large).
Thanks for those - are there any people who stay in Goa for the monsoon who may be able to tell me where they go in October so that I can pass it on?
