Hope someone out there can help me!

I've just returned from a lovely week's holiday in Menorca, slightly spoiled by the cost of almost everything!! For example - 2 euors for a small bottle of water/ 6 euros per sunbed/ 3.4 euros fro beans on toast/ 2 euros for a coffee etc etc. So I'm looking to book next year & have found a good 2 week half board deal to Playa Blanca & I'm wanting to know if the costs in Lanzarote are similar? I appreciate the strength of the euro against teh pound etc, but felt slightly ripped off in Menorca, but if this is the case in other places then so be it, but I'm interested to know, so thanks in advance.
