We're looking to go back to the Maldives in Jan, I know Irufushi has only just opened but does anyone have any information on it? The Thomson brochure shows some very different interior photos than the Irufushi website, I'm wondering if TUI have used some library photos? Does anyone have any idea?

While we were researching where to go, I bought a book by "The Lonely Planet" people and this gives a breakdown of all inhabited islands in all the atolls.
Off the top of my head I cannot remember what it said about that opne but I will look it up and PM you.
If you want to buy the book, which is very good, it can be found at most reputable book stores ( including Smiths) for approx £10.

Thanks. As an update, I've actually booked it. I emailed the island, showed them the pics Thomson have on their website and they confirmed they were wrong. Maybe Thomson will put the price up when they realise!

We eventually booked Paradise Island because of the Delphis Dive school ( and also because we could not get in at Keredu!).
