There are a few nice All inc. in PB but it really depends on what you are looking for..

Do you want to be in the town? as the better AI hotels are on the outskirts of the resort. Do you need to be close to a beach?

I have stayed at the Rubicon Palace (twice!) and the Iberostar Papagayo and both are good 4* AI's. The papagayo arena also gets good reviews. As its just you and your daughter I would suggest the Iberostar Papagayo as although they do have children there, its mainly couples/adults so a bit quieter than the other ones.

I have never seen stray dogs there - some stray cats though :( My husband has to remind me that I can't take any home..Most hotels seem to have a colony of cats who roam the grounds.

Hi fatcodycat
You sound just like me!!! I went to Corfu and had to come home early as there were so many stray dogs...I hated it. At this rate, I won't be leaving Britain because I can't find anywhere that doesn't have dogs, cats or creepy crawlies!!!!!!!!! :( :(
Thanks for your honesty!!! :)

I wouldnt say there were alot in the main resort itself - its mainly around the hotels you will find a few around, I have to say though that the cats who live in the hotel grounds are very well cared for and are in no way pitiful strays some of them are even fatter than my own cat who as you can see from my username is a fat cat!! Sorry :offtop

It would be a shame if this did put you off from going to PB as its a lovely place for a holiday

We went to the Rubicon Palace too. We upgraded to All Inclusive and really enjoyed it. There were a few cats which wandered about and my MIL is terrified of cats and was ok. There was one who went about near the main pool a lot but otherwise we weren't too bothered.
