Hi we are off to kos 3 weeks today and cant wait! Just wondering if anyone else is going in october and where abouts you will be staying? We are at the hotel akti just outside kardamena. Also does anyone have any experience of the wheather in october- we are hoping for some sun after havng such a rubbish summer in the uk !!!

Hi Nat - October weather can be a little mixed but on the whole it is sunny and warm during the day, and usually beach and tan weather.. cooler in the evening time though, you may need a light fleece or similar. We Usually go end September early October and have only seen rain twice in 18 visits so you should be OK.
However, that said, my friend is out in Kefalos at the mo and it was pouring down yesterday
Hope it clears up as we are going out this Wednesday to Mayflower Apartments in kefalos.
