Here in leeds the kids finish friday 24th oct.

Jackie If you go to the website of your local authority they should have term dates up for 2009/2010. they cant always be 100% gauranteed because of schools own individual training days etc but should at least give you the main week.

My son finishes 24th October,too,holiday is a week later than usual,don't know why.We live in Norfolk.

here in Wales the dates are

Term Start 1/2 term starts 1/2 term ends term ends

Autumn 2/09/2009 26/10/09 30/10/2009 22/12/2009

spring 2/01/2010 15/02/2010 19/03/2010 26/03/2010

Summer 12/04/2010 31/05/2010 04/06/2010 19/07/2010

hope this helps, obviously training days will have to be taken into account as they wont be the same in all schools
