Chris. Can't help with the hotel. but note that Alcudia Pins is not in Alcudia but Playa de Muro. It is some 5-6 kilometres to the main tourist centre of Puerto Alcudia (the so-called Bellevue area) and 7-8 kilometres to the actual port and old town of Alcudia. The cheapest prices will always be found in the Spanish bars, of which there are none in Bellevue but are a smattering in the port and town. Cheapest beer I know of in tourist places is a bar called the Crazy Horse opposite the hotel Lagomonte in Puerto Alcudia. 1.50 for a pint of San Miguel. Otherwise, expect 2.50-3.00 or more. Depends on brands and bar. The only bar right by the hotel is a fake Irish place called St Patricks. Don't remember it being particularly cheap.
