Chemists are no problem they are all over.One of the most popular is Johnys on Calungute main street just up from the old petrol station.

Markets - the best is the Saturday night market at Ingoes, if its still on as there was some problems last year. The best market is on everyday in Mapusa only a short bus ride away , or you could try a taxi, but be careful get a price before you go, Tuk Tuks are cheaper and more fun.

I don't know your hotel so I can only speak for Baga ,Calangute and Candolim area , Money - try the shoeshop next to Johnys the Chemist, theres the elephant shop in Candolim , theres plenty about with good rates but as usual do not use the hotels.One near the Lumar Supermarket on the Calungute to Candolim road, a row of shops but can never remember the name.

For football I always use the J29 bar in Candolim, giant screens, bit pricey and the foods not bad.Thats on the Candolim Beach Road.Theres Shooters in Baga with a large screen but most places have a tv and the football.

For Duty Free we usually use the airport, there was a lot of duff ciggies around a couple of years back so I have never bothered since. For Spirits, gin, vodka etc , they are cheap anywhere in Goa.
