We go on Sunday and the forecast is only showing sun on Tuesday. We plan to visit the Zoomarine and Silves, but does anyone have any good tips for things to do in the rain (apart from sit in the bar, or the pool!!).

Don't trust the weather charts. I'm sure you'll get a lot more sun than just one day. 
I hope so. It's not all about the sun, but it is nice being outside, especially after this summer we have had. I am sure we will have a nice time in any case.
I know exactly what you mean. I can count on one hand how many times I sat out in the garden this year so I'm hoping for a week's sunshine when I go in October.
Have never been so looking forward to it, even in the rain, it can't be as bad as it has been here.
This is the first time I've been to Portugal so looking forward to that. We usually stick with somewhere Spanish. Really wanted to take the kids back to Florida but I've not got a spare arm and a leg! 
Well I went shopping earlier and got wet on the way back!
