Has anyone been recently, have had a look at the reviews for the place and there seems to be only 2 reviews, although trip advisor has a few more.
Also have read some conflicting reports on what to expect weather wise??

Hi, we have just booked up to go to the Dominican on the 22nd november going to the Bluebay villas Dorada...........

We are off to Dom Rep in March, but to Punta Cana. I was looking around for info and found this excellent forum. http://www.dr1.com/forums/ Go into the TRAVEL and pick out which coast it's on.

can't comment on the hotel but I've just retutned from Punta Cana and the weather was gorgeous! In the 2 weeks I was there it rained once for 20 minutes at lunchtime and for about 10 minutes one afternoon. Other than that it looked as though it had rained overnight a few times but that doesnt matter. The humidity is unreal so try and take a nice thick sun cream because it literally runs off you. It was over 30 degrees everyday and it was definitely getting hotter as the 2 weeks progressed. Very jealous!
