Gosh that is awful. Does not seam right somehow. Someone I jnow has booked to go to La Blanche in June hope they will be ok. Sorry I am not much help as have never stayed there. I read the ADR is a good hotel. If you look down there is a thread on it. I am sure someone will be along soon to help you out.

I would take a refund, there is mixed reviews for the aegean dream resort. Take a look at side, very good A/I hotels and the best you will find in turkey along with lara beach A/I hotels.

First choice is expensive compared to direct holidays, compare to all the other tour op. I priced a hotel up for five with direct holiday and first choice. Direct holidays £4000 first choice £8000 the same holiday, dates.

Take a look at this hotel. Just put this in the you tube search box ( TATÄ°L OTEL BARUT HEMERA RESORT ) and it will bring up a good video of the hemera. monarch, direct holidays, thomas cook, portland and thomson do the hotel. Gets top reviews on this site and a long thread in the turkey forum.

Spoke to somebody who went to the aegean dream resort ans she said she wouldn't return, food dry in the a la carte restaurant, not a patch on the hemera which has 3 a la carte restaurants all in the price.

If you are going soon everything is booked up. Still worth taking a look at the video.

Thanks for replies - I have decided to accept the alternative as we are going this coming Sunday from our local Cardiff airport,have little flexibility and very little else appears to be available around Bodrum without paying extra ££s (a lot extra for some as we got a very competitive deal at La Blanche ~ £420 pp)
can't think of a username - Because we got such a keen price for the week we will be able to eat out in the evenings if we find the food is not up to scratch.
Did look at your suggestion but couldn't find its availability on Thomson,Portland or Tho Cook web sites,but thanks again anyway

check out the reviews in the thread I bumped up for you. Some who have been really enjoyed their time there. You got a great deal. Just relax and have fun I am sure it will be great.

We were there in August Dave and had a lovely time . Only word of caution is that during the high season the ADR switch over to an ultra a/I and there seems more going on and more choice of food than there would be at this time of year. the reviews seem a little more mixed on either side of July/august. If you have a bargain and keep that in mind you will have a lovely time . Try and push your luck for an upgrade to a seaview room in the annex if you can .

we went to the ADR in may/june and it was ok, in my opinion the food let the hotel down, the views were nice, the beach nice, in a good location, rooms in annex were nice, but food well below 5* standard more 3* when we were there, we wouldnt go back again but we didnt have a bad time, it was reasonably good, so im sure you will be fine
