Hi all. We normally go to Ibiza first 2 weeks in July but next year is my husband 40th in May so i am planning 7 days in Menorca........................ But Where???????
I have never been there before so have no idea were to start looking. We will have 2 13 year olds with us and I want to go AI so I dont have to worry about taking much spending money with us.
Any idea will be much appreciated.
xx
Hi, take a look at Calan Forcat. Quite a lively little resort
Can i ask why you are looking to switch to Menorca from Ibiiza ? It maybe a bit quiet for the 2 x 13 year olds although I guess if you go AI there will be plenty for them to do there.
I think I agree with the previous post. After Ibiza, Menorca is a bit tame and quiet for 2 teenagers and dare I say, 2 x lively 40 year olds.
The marina (most bars resaurants etc. are around the marina) is safe for your teens to walk around on there own at night, there is also an amusements area (pool tables, air hockey, slot machines etc.) there are stalls all around the marina selling jewellery etc. and there's live music going on at a few places too.
I think 13 year olds will love it here, any older and they might find it abit tame!
Oh........and there is a waterpark and karting track within a 5 - 10 minute walk of most places in Calan Bosch.
Hope this helps
Have to agree on Cala'n Bosch...much 'nicer' than Cala'n Forcat in my opinion (sorry to any Forcat lovers). Enough going on there to keep everyone amused, but still has a really nice atmosphere to it. If you're looking for AI the Cala'n Bosch hotel has been getting great reviews recently, not been there myself as prefer SC. When are you planning on going? Just be aware that May can be a bit hit and miss weather wise.
We stayed in the cala n bosch hotel in Sept and cant recommend it highly enough, we have booked to go back next year! The AI there is brilliant - food is first class with plenty of choice and the entertainment team superb. You wont go wrong with this hotel or resort.
