Can anyone give me any ideas for a new resort in Greece to visit.
1. Must Have direct flight
2. Not more than 40 minutes from the airport
3. Not very hilly
4. Quite laid back resort (we are Seniors)
5. Quite Pretty
So far we have been to Corfu, Crete, Rhodes, Samos, Kephalonia, Parga, Thassos, Zante, Finikounda, Stoupa, Kos, Santorini, Skiathos and Lesvos maybe many more but I cannot remember.
We have been going to Greece for the past 30 years but would like to find somewhere new, many of the islands above we have been to more than once favourites are Kal ives and Georgiopolis in Crete, Kamari in Santorini and Parga.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Sorry Manchester thanks
Sounds as if you've done the rounds with direct flights and short transfers to me! Maybe Lefkas? Mykonos? Have you tried any of the islands close to Athens? Although I guess that doesn't met with the direct flight requirement. I'm stumped.
The direct flight and transfer criteria certainly rule out some great parts of Greece including most of the Cyclades and the Pelion. As mentioned, Lefkas is available and I would add Tolon or Naplion.

Now I know this is slighly longer than your 40 minutes but have you thought about flying in to Athens and then going to Evia which although the second largest Greek island is still very unspoilt ?
A quick web search would give you a lot of info, but this link will tell you a little about the island,

Click on the 'about' links to the the right of the description for more info and travel details etc.
Hope this help a bit

Your hop would be to Stuttgart (Tuifly I think) and then onwards by direct flight by Germanwings, Tuifly or even better Aegean (reasonable prices, 20 kg baggage (and no outcry at the odd 2 kg over!), a reserved very comfy seat and a free hot meal!!!).
