Given the choice between going down to the local working men's club,(umm, very exciting company, not!) staying at home watching the rubbish TV or hosting a party for friends and family that wreck your house and you feel knackered afterwards, then I have to say.......
Benidorm.
Sanjiiiiiiiiiiii
We have spent three fabulous New Years Eve's in Benidorm (in the Triangle) but last year, due to reaseons, we had to stay at home so had a house party. Although we enjoyed it we spent all night saying "This time last year........" Benidorm for us this year. Hoping we can afford it!
Last New Year was spent in Bangkok. We loved it. And best of all was sunbathing on the 1st. This year its home But its not so bad as sister and nephew will be back from Cyprus and I haven't seen them since August.
But for sheer excitement it has to be Hong Kong where the skyline all lit up is just fantastic, they really make a massive effort - and it is not actually Chinese New Year until February !!
I've got to say one of the best new years i've spent was on a cruise ship from singapore to sydney was on the ship for old year day, having a wonderfull meal in very good company and a few cocktail, then went to several places in Australia, then flew from sydney back to singapore and stayed there for a few days. shopped till i dropped, Last year at gatwick airport at midnight on new years eve on the way to Goa, this year will be in goa for xmas and new year cant wait.GEL
Last year at the caravan party was pretty good. I am hoping to have a better one this year, but enough said
