I'm thinking of trying Mexico in February. All of the hotel reviews that I'm reading mention the mozzie problem but all the posts are pretty recent, i.e. September & October.
Can anyone tell me what the mozzie situation is like in February/March please? If repellents don't work for some others they certainly won't work for me. The little critters seem to love feasting on me no matter what I do to prevent them.
Don't know if it makes a difference but I'm considering the Mayan Riviera and in particular the Azul beach Hotel.

i always use the jungle formula extra strength, and use boots sun cream with insect repellant, not had a bite in 6 years going to greece and india, it works for me !!

Thanks for the link Pippy. To be honest I've tried all those and some and still get bitten. 
The idea of the post was not so much for repellent advice but more to establish if the little blighters were a probelm in February or not. Anyone been at that time of the year please?
