I had my purse stolen from my bag yesterday in Malaga,I was in the Calle Larios area.Old story!Momentary lack of concentration when coming out of a shop.My bag was still open.It was very fast.There were three women fairly close,I was not sure who took it.
I think she will be fairly dissappointed as I literally had a few cents in it!I had been to the cash machine to draw 100 euros out but it had not worked.I went into the bank to check that the money had not come out of my account.It hadn,t.The bank clerk blamed the rain (getting into machine!) I was on my way to find another.
I had two cards,Nationwide and Unicaja.I keep my account numbers on my mobiles in code (disguised as phone numbers)I went into the nearest locutorio and cancelled them within ten minutes.I had to borrow a couple of euros to do this!!Lost my E111 which was due to expire anyway.My mobile I try to keep in my pocket if I have one,along with my door key.
It is hard to remember what you have in your purse,in future I will take more note.My RAC breakdown/membership card probably went too.
Another lesson learned and luckily,not too expensive a lesson!
