I need some urgent advice please. I booked a transfer with this company for September 16th, 2008. To cut a long story short they did not pick me up at Antalya airport as booked and when I called the emergency number I was informed get a taxi to your destination. So it cost me £64 pounds to get a taxi 120km to my destination of Alanyaat 4 o'clock in the morning.
The agent in Turkey admitted the error was caused to them not checking the booking form correctly. They thought I was on a Thomson flight arriving the next day. They stated they would compensate me upon my return journey to Antalya airport, needless to say no money was given to me. I complained to A2B transfers upon my return to England on September 24th. They have given me the run around since then - waiting for agent to contact us etc, etc.
Anyway it is now October 28th only after me threatening A2B transfers with an ABTA complaint (they have exceeded the 28 guideline set by ABTA) have they finally offered me £64 compensation. Should I accept this after all this time or do you think they should also be offering a little extra for the inconvenience. I'm not out to make money but am just so annoyed by all this.
Urgent replies needed please.
Thanks
There is no guarantee that you will get any compensation and you will be sat around for some time £64.00 out of pocket. If you raise the question of compensation they will be within their rights to sit on the £64.00 until the matter is settled. Take the money and put it down to experience.
Now a question. Did you enjoy your holiday - apart from the transfer problem? Why not write a review so others can see the good and bad points? Browse through the various forums and see if you can help someone else.

I don't think it would be unreasonable to point out to them any expenses you incurred in making phone calls in regard to both arranging the replacement transfer and claiming back the cost of it if there were any.
If it was me I would take the money and call it a day.
I'd also take the money as it's not worth extra stress and further expense. Obviously think twice about using them again.
For what it's worth, I'd take the money now and choose another transfer company in the future.
I would take the money and run, we used this company in August from Dalaman to Icmeler, the transfer was not good. It took more than double the time of a normal transfer and three times the time of a private one.
i used A2B in spain last year, apart from having to phone them twice in spain to confirm pick up time for departure everything was ok.
as regards the £64 pounds you have been offered,i personally would accept it and put it down to experience.
regards percy.
I would take the money and let them loose my future custom.
Take the money and splash as many holiday site as you can warning others of this company.
