sat here in the house , heating on not wanting to go out into the cold
so i look at the webcam on Symi , seeing all that sunshine , makes me feel better
i only spent a few hours there but it was worth every second , and each time i look
i feel as though i am there.
i think it was yesterday when i was watching , it looked as though
there was going to be a mass exodus as the amount of vehicles was tremendous
Oh so close
Next year, Graham. The Anastasoula is still open and thriving.
Winter resorts
Cyprus Troodos webcam
On the Troodos webcam if you click on the View previous years it shows a few years previous and the serious lack of snow in 2008/7/6. Many of the Greek snow resorts were hit hard over the last few years due to lack of snow on the lower slopes and minimal snow at higher levels.

The melting snow on the higher peaks feeds the springs throughout summer and the lack of snow over the previous years probably contributed to the raging forest fires Greece suffered last year.
On a clear day you can see the snow covered peaks across the sea from Stoupa.

There's a great cam overlooking Mykonos town that scans around, zooms in on folks walking along, then moves to various parts of the town including the harbour where, again, you see locals walking or driving. It also keeps moving until it finds the island of Tinos. The whole things seems to be done automatically but for me, it is as it's happening and that's great. You can even watch the ships sailing into the harbour. Click on the image that says: 'Live Streaming Cam' at this link:
I've only managed to look at the Mykonos cams at night time...
Have to look in during the daytime as that looks like a great cam..

Found that webcam when we were going to Crete last summer, it is certainly a more detailed image than most I've seen.
