Ohhhh..sooo happy that you are having a great time in Istanbul..I am sooo jealous !!!!!!!!!! the weather here in antalya is great however..yesterday was so hot over 31C and today is about the same..
The name of the place where Ataturk spent his final days and died in was the Dolmabahçe Sarary...Dolmabahçe Palace and the anniversary of his death is Nov 10th...
also have you taken the kids to Minaturk yet ????

i havent had chance to down load pics as will take hours got over 200 lol and will do report this week, got daughterr no 1's birthday today and daughter no 2 's party lol so been a bit busy
we didnt get to dolmabahce palace as both times we went it was closed for republic day we were gutted grr and didnt get a chance to visit miniturk either due to the rain for the first 4 days left us behind with our plans, but we had a fab time, and really loved istanbul and will return to see all the sights we missed. our hotel was basic but in prime location ,3 mins walk to the blue mosque and hagia sofia
