Hi can anyone please help me?!
my family and me have flights booked to malaga next year, last wk in June first week in July, we usually stay in lovely La Cala but this time we really need a change!
I have a few requirements, which are we must be very near the beach, not to lively or loud because we have elderly parents and a little child, and a pool.
Ive been wondering about Los Boliches. does anyone have any info on the area, or know of anywhere decent to stay?
Any advice is very much appreciated, im tearing my hair out!! there are so many websites out there, and i don't think you can believe all of them when they say ''5 mins to beach'' sometimes its more like 5 miles!
Thankyou xx
Usualy Calahonda .
But we love Cabopino beach and always visit.
It's not far from La Cala.
Might be worth a look.

Can't help with accomodation really, we stayed in a privately owned apartment in a residential block, on the 7th floor, not so good for you with a little 'un ! however the confortel hotel is frontline, 2 mins from the beach and looked smashing, hope this helps,
cheers,
juby
Ive stayed at Los Boliches several times and prefer it to the centre of fuengirola as its quieter but still handy for the bars, restauraunts, and beach. You can also take the train along the coast. As for accommodation it depends what your after really and what you want to pay. Ive stayed a few times at the Ronda 1V, these are aparthotels and are right on the front cross the road and your on the beach. They are inexpensive and ive always found for the price they are very reasonable. Ive not been there for a couple of years but am going for a short break next week.
the ronda 1v looked great also, as did the stella maris, you can't go wrong with los boliches, lovely family place, we went for 2 weeks and it wasn't long enough for us ! the beach is fab as are the restraunts and bars, go for it !!!
Thanks for everyones help! We have also decided to drive over there for the first time! Any advice? The Spanish look like crazy drivers!
Hi ali, are you driving from the airport ? The motorway is the easiest drive, we found it not to bad, the coast road however is ( we found) one scary drive ! great way to see other resorts, but I had white knuckles and a dry mouth !!!
I always hire a car when on the CDS and find it easy driving, takes a bit of getting used to roundabouts but that soon becomes second nature. I prefer driving in spain than in england.
Have been going to costa del sol for years and each resort has its own appeal, Los Boliches great
Could anyone tell me if the hotel Angela is in the Los Boliches area?
Yes it is.
I would say the Hotel Angela its midway between fuengirola and los boliches, the area between the two resorts is one continuous strip, go for it its great!
Thanks for replies.
