we took the guilded tour of mainland Greece for our 25th. tour lasts 1 week but does involve a lot of travelling and a few early starts. saw all the main sites and met some interesting people and had a great time but you will need the 2nd week to wind down and chill out. information re tour is from Thompson's

Any ideas where you want to go, what kind of resort, how much you want to pay, independant or package, etc? Ionian Island Holidays have a few more upmarket places and might be worth a look. Their transfers are always very well organised too, private boats instead of ferries, sometimes taxis, etc. I've always fancied staying in Oia on Santorini and have seen some fantastic upmarket places there - at a price.

Can I suggest Marmari Stone Cottage on the lovely island of Paxos? It's a pretty little house, set amongst the olive groves, but is only a few minutes' walk from beaches and the village of Loggos. You have full s/c facilities if you want to make your own lunches, etc, but the owner provides a continental breakfast each morning.

I've never actually stayed there, but have walked past it many times and it really does look idyllic.
